Where is pickup?

Pick up is at Lewis' Supermarket in Mountainhome. 

 

Do you deliver?

Not typically but I may be able to make exceptions depending on the circumstances.  Can't hurt to ask! 

 

How do I pay for my cake?

Cash or Venmo is the best way to pay for your cake. You can find us on Venmo @bakingforbilly.  

How far in advance should I order my cake?

Ideally at least 10 days in advance but I have cakes booked on my calendar as far as 5 months out!  I have limited spots available each week for cake orders so the sooner you contact me about your cake, the better chance I can take it.

What is the LLS?

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers. They have invested $1.3 billion, funding nearly all of today's most promising advances in treating and hopefully one day curing these cancers. 100% of the proceeds from a Baking for Billy cake will be donated to LLS, an organization that was a huge resource for Billy and my family during his difficult battle.

I would love to buy a cake but I don't live in the area. How can I help? 

This is probably the question I get the most! Contact us about sponsoring a cake! You would purchase a cake and we would deliver it to a person or family in the community that we feel needs a little cheering up.

What is the best way to cut tall cakes?

For the maximum amount of portions, I recommend cutting the cake in square cuts as opposed to pie-shaped. Cut a 1" deep cut all the way down the face of the cake, push the whole slice onto a large plate or cutting board, and then divide and cut smaller portions and distribute. Continue cutting with this way for the next 1" deep slice until the end. You can check out this video for visual reference! 

 

What do I do if I have cake left over? 

The cakes keep very fresh in the fridge for up to 7 days and the freezer for up to 3 months. Bring to room temperature at least 1hour (3-4 hours from frozen) before cutting. 

 

What if I have an allergy?

My kitchen is NOT NUT-FREE even if some of my cakes don’t contain nuts. Please be aware of this when serving cake to your guests.
